1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing, visiting, or utilizing ExcelToMarkdown.com in any web browser or automated environment, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Description of service
ExcelToMarkdown.com provides a free, client-side web utility designed to parse tabular spreadsheet data (including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CSV, TSV, and Apple Numbers formats) and convert that data into formatted GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM) tables.
The Service operates entirely within the user's web browser environment. We provide no cloud storage, persistent hosting, or synchronization services for converted data.
3. User data and acceptable use
You retain all intellectual property rights, copyright, and ownership in any data, spreadsheets, numbers, or text you paste or upload into the Service.
You agree to use the Service exclusively for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the client-side bundle for malicious or unauthorized distribution.
- Use the site in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair our web hosting infrastructure or interfere with any other party's use.
- Introduce malicious code, viruses, or harmful scripts via manipulated spreadsheet macro payloads.
4. Accuracy and output verification
While our deterministic conversion algorithms are designed to adhere strictly to RFC-4180 and GitHub Flavored Markdown table specifications, spreadsheets often contain complex custom formatting, merged cells, formulas, or unescaped characters.
You are solely responsible for inspecting and verifying all generated Markdown output prior to publishing, committing to source repositories, or distributing to production systems.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Raxa Technology, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or inability to use the Service.

We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at our sole discretion. Continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
